Autumn is often associated with solemnity, maturity and pensiveness. However, this piece takes on a different approach to autumn. Rather than being carried by the gloom of the dull and cold sky, I choose savour the rich colours of the leaves, floating about in the air. The child-likeness of the pink maple leaves remind us that we may keep that child-like charm and cheerfulness for as long as we live - even when autumn and maturity come.
